This fantastic FREE exhibition is part of our events in our Borough to help mark the centenary of the end of World War One. Telling an immersive story of the soldiers who fought and fell in the Great War, the exhibition takes its name from the only tree left standing on the battlefield during fighting. Augmented reality allows viewers to unlock the story behind each painting, stripping away the countless layers of paint to reveal the poetry, animation and music beneath. This ground breaking exhibition, combining traditional painting with interactive technology, allows visitors to fully participate in the augmented reality experience.
The Borough of Stockton on is made up of six thriving towns, all of which we want to showcase – who better to do that than the people that live here? Whether you’re a professional photographer or a keen snapper, we’d love to see photographs of what you love about your town!
