Halloween Spooky Walk

 

Will you venture into the woods to find the fairytale villains most wanted?

Join us for the annual Spooky Walk around Preston Park this Halloween and stumble into the enchanted forest full of fairytale characters that you definitely won’t have read about in your bedtime stories.

The Halloween Spooky Walk is a family event, suitable for people of all ages. There’s a family walk for under 5's and those of a more sensitive nature plus later walks suitable for older children and adults.

Tickets - Available from Monday 1 October

Tickets available for:
3pm-4:30pm (Suitable for children under 5 and those of a more sensitive nature)
6pm-7pm
7pm-8pm

Tickets available from Preston Park Museum reception and Rediscover Stockton shop, Stockton High Street and cost £4.50 per person (Under 5's are free).

Tickets are limited and we expect them to sell fast, especially for the earlier walk. Tickets must be booked in advance as no tickets will be available to purchase on the night.

Transport

Vehicle access to Preston Park is only available via the special Park & Ride Ghost Coaches which is included in the cost of your ticket. There will be strictly no parking available on site within Preston Park grounds or the surrounding residential areas so it is advisable to use the Park & Ride Ghost Coaches to travel to and from the Halloween Spooky Walk. Pick up points for the Park & Ride are:

  • Tesco car park, Ingleby Barwick TS17 0WA
  • Stockton High Street (outside the Swallow Hotel) TS18 1AQ
  • Yarm High Street (outside Yarm Town Hall) TS15 9AH
  • Billingham Town Centre (Stand D near ASDA) - TS23 2DD – This stop must be pre-booked when purchasing your ticket

Ghost Coaches will run frequently during the evening and you should arrive at your chosen pick up point with sufficient time to travel to the park. Ghost Coaches will be travelling at regular intervals throughout the hourly slot you have booked tickets for. Admittance into the event will only be permitted during your booked time slot. Limited disabled parking is available.

Tips

The grounds around Preston Park are uneven and lighting levels may vary, so appropriate footwear should be worn. You may also want to bring along a small torch. Likewise appropriate clothing should be worn to reflect the time of year. Wristbands must be worn to gain access to the event.

Accessibility

Some areas of the walk may be difficult to access for wheelchair users dependent on weather conditions, please ask event staff for advice on the night. Please note that the walk may contain strobe lighting effects.

Wristbands

Your wristband is your ticket on the night so please keep it safe. You will need to wear it to gain access to the event.

Tickets are £4.50 per person (under 5's are free) and must be booked in advance. These will go on-sale from 1 October 2018 from our Rediscover Stockton Shop on Stockton High Street and Preston Park Museum Reception.

Please note: No tickets will be available to buy on the night of the event.
