This event is organized by the Teesside 500 a registered charity. The group is funded mainly by donations. The Teesside 500 Group Registered Charity Number 1175569

A walk with Norton Heritage Group: Learn something about the village of Norton and its wonderful parish church. At 10.30am a member of the group will lead a tour around the duck pond area of Norton Green including Parson’s Walk and the outside of St. Mary’s church. A healthy way to learn a few things about the “hidden” history of this Saxon village!

Meet the Friends of Stockton and Darlington Railway Group who care deeply about the railway heritage of the North East and want to see the 1825 Stockton and Darlington Railway line receive the recognition and protection it deserves as the world’s first steam powered passenger railway.

Normanby Local History Group research and uncover archive records, photographs, artefacts and living memories of everything that has created the community of Normanby that we live or have lived in.

Cleveland and Teesside Local History Society will be providing a selection of Local Parish Records (Birth, Marriages and Burials) for North Yorkshire and Durham parishes, many of which precede Civil Registration, and Memorial Inscriptions (MIs) which are not available online.
