Come down to our Town Centre Marquee and don’t just watch a show evolve - be in it! Join Apollo Arts, Matty’s Bistro, Urban Kaos and The Wildcats of Kilkenny in a crescendo of family activity and entertainment guaranteed to start the weekend off with a smile.

2.00pm - 4pm. Join the artists and creative team of Apollo Arts as we fill the space with arts and crafts and circus and music workshops. Get involved as they help you to create a backdrop, drumming group and more for the afternoon’s finale! Try your hand at circus skills and music workshops all complemented with a live platform for some of Stockton’s youngest musicians to show what they can do!

4pm - 5pm - Urban Kaos create the ultimate family disco. All the songs and actions that make summer holiday nights fly by - right in the heart of town. Plus learn a dance for the afternoon finale! The Grooviest party in Stockton!

5.30 – 6:45pm - The Wildcats of Kilkenny Family Knees Up! Completely synonymous with festivals and events in their beloved Stockton-on-Tees, we present the Wildcats live and loud on your high street. Not just for the children - we are pretty sure that this is going to go down in high street history as the lads jig and bounce you into the weekend. And - just because it is Stockton Stages, enjoy the biggest participatory finale Mike and the lads have ever tried. Choirs, drummers, brass, dancers… this is going to be Stockton at it’s very finest!

‘Mike McGrother presents:
‘RAISE A GLASS!’

In Partnership with Darlington Building Society.

Anyone who saw Mike McGrother’s ‘Of Rogues and Of Honest Men’ knows that his staged performances are packed with Teesside storytelling, emotion, humour and energy. That show introduced us to the historically based wonder-filled Pa McCoys - the middle house of Haverton Hill circa the beginning of the 20th century.

Tonight we head back to the pub as Mike and a new set of regulars introduce more stories of Teesside’s community. Inspired by Mike’s regular Joe’s Speakeasy reminiscence events, take a seat, have a drink and prepare to meet 11 (extra)ordinary men and women through songs, visual projection and a narrative featuring ‘Voice of Big Brother’ Marcus Bentley.

With live band, Infant Hercules Choir and more than a few surprises along the way, ‘Raise a Glass’ and prepare to be engrossed in this extraordinary musical theatre experience guaranteed to produce tears of laughter and emotion in equal measure.
