The Gift

The Gift returns for 2018, part of Stockton Sparkles, and you can help make this festive season a little brighter for those in our borough who are vulnerable and alone this Christmas.

We’re once again asking for generous donations of either useful presents or your time to help us wrap them into hampers - and we'll be distributing these, in-time for Christmas, to three groups in our Borough:

  1. Care Leavers – offering gifts and essentials to those leaving the care system,
  2. The Moses Project – providing daily support, mentoring and activities for men disengaged from society,
  3. The Mary Thompson Fund – hardship fund responding to critical and emergency needs of those seeking sanctuary and asylum in Stockton-on-Tees,

What to donate - we’re looking for donations of:

  • Toiletries (sets) and sanitary products
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Gift sets
  • Lip balms
  • Hand creams
  • Socks / slippers
  • Hats, scarves and gloves
  • Hairbrushes / accessories
